Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and, if you sign in with Google, your Google profile name and picture.
• What you enter: accounts you add (name, type, bank name, optional last 4 digits, balance), transactions, categories, tags, notes and any receipts you upload.
• Settings such as your currency.
• Basic technical logs (like IP address and browser type) kept by our hosting providers for security and reliability.

What we never ask for

Lumio never asks for your bank or card login, full card number, CVV, OTP or UPI PIN, and it does not connect to or move money in your bank accounts. If anyone asks for these in Lumio's name, it isn't us.

How we use it

• To run the app: show your balances, charts and insights, and remember your preferences.
• To suggest categories and payment methods from your own past entries. This happens inside your account only.
• To send account emails, such as confirming your address or resetting your password.

We don't sell your data, share it with advertisers, or show ads.

Where it's stored

Your data is stored with Supabase (database, sign-in and file storage) and the app is served by Vercel. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and database rules make sure each record can only be read by the account that created it. If you sign in with Google, Google handles that sign-in under its own privacy policy.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your data while your account is open. To delete your account and everything in it, contact us through the Help Center in the app, and we'll delete it within 30 days. You can also export your transactions as a CSV from the Transactions page at any time.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. Your “hide amounts” choice is stored on your device.
